The Wednesday moot discussion was on the importance of symbolism on worship and its relevance to being church (traditional & emerging) as a structure of signification. I am left reflecting on the representation and expression of mystery – and yet again the idea of transcendence and imminence – or as Gary would say rightly absence and presence.
